Last Testament of Forest Thoughts
This tarp was previously used protect other objects and materials, but with time it lost its protective properties, thus also its main purpose. Instead, it has been altered, even gained properties, by and from the very same environment it was to protect from. In the same proximity, I took a photo of the forest. A dear forest, in the Södermanland province. Shortly after, without my prior knowing, this forest was cut down. Even more reason to persevere it, giving it a last testament. From sticks left at the scene I made charcoal and used it as pigment for the print. The tarp and the wooden structure can both be folded, two straps then hold them together, a handle allows one person to carry it. Where shall we be going then?
